This event brought together leading immunology experts from around the world to share the latest achievements and discuss relevant issues related to immunodeficiencies.
Lecturers of the IEU’s Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases, Professor Anastasiia Bondarenko, Associate Professors Yurii Stepanovskyi and Anna Hilfanova, together with other Ukrainian immunologists co-authored 5 poster presentations on the results of neonatal screening in Ukraine, the cohort study of Nijmegen breakage syndrome, the impact of the war on patients in Ukraine, and rare clinical cases.
Besides, participants were able to examine the latest research, discuss challenges, and establish new contacts.
At the Infections and Immunity Conference to be held on November 21-22, 2024, in Kyiv, Anastasiia Bondarenko and Oksana Boiarchuk will present the main trends in modern clinical immunology and share their forecasts for the future in their presentation: Clinical Immunology. Quo vadis? In the Footsteps of ESID 2024. This question from Latin, meaning ‘Where are we going?’, encourages thinking about the future of our industry.
