Study at the International European University within academic mobility programs
The International European University welcomes students from partner institutions around the world who wish to spend a semester or an academic year in Ukraine within Erasmus+, Global Exchange, bilateral agreements, or individual mobility programs.

Who can apply
You can take part in the exchange program if you:
- are a bachelor’s or master’s student at an IEU partner institution;
- have completed at least 1 year of study at the time of application;
- have English or Ukrainian language proficiency at level B2 or higher (or equivalent);
- have been nominated/selected by your home university.
Application deadlines
- Autumn semester (September–January): by May 15
- Spring semester (February–June): by November 15
(For short-term visits or individual mobility programs, flexible timelines may apply.)
Study program
After your nomination by the home university, you will receive access to:
- The course catalogue in English and Ukrainian;
- The IEU Academic Calendar;
- Curricula of the respective programs.
Your Learning Agreement must be approved between you, your home HEI, and IEU before the start of studies.
How to apply
- Nomination
Your university sends an official nomination to:
- 📝 Document submission
After the nomination, you will receive instructions and a link to an online form. Required documents:- Copy of passport
- Academic transcript (Transcript of Records)
- Learning Agreement (completed and signed)
- Language proficiency certificate (or an official letter from your university)
- Invitation letter
After a successful review of your application, you will receive an official invitation letter from IEU, which can be used for visa or migration procedures. - Arrival and orientation program
Before the start of studies, we organize an Orientation Week with tours and meetings with the student parliament and administration.
Housing and support
IEU provides assistance in finding housing in Kyiv for mobility participants. We also offer support with:
- obtaining a temporary residence permit;
- insurance and migration matters;
- adaptation to the learning environment.
Documents after completion of mobility
After successfully completing a semester or an academic year, you will receive:
- Transcript of Records indicating courses, ECTS credits, and grades;
- Confirmation of Stay for your university.
Credits earned at IEU may be transferred at your home HEI according to the Learning Agreement.
