SDSN

The Sustainable Development Solutions Network

The SDSN mobilizes the world’s knowledge community for science-based solutions for sustainable development.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) operates under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General, mobilizing the world’s largest knowledge network to drive action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

Established in 2012 by the former UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon, and world-renowned economist and professor, Jeffrey Sachs, the SDSN promotes integrated approaches to sustainable development through education, research, policy analysis, and global cooperation.

The SDSN works at the intersection of science, policy, and development practice, maximizing SDG achievements across global, regional, national, and local levels. In partnership with UN agencies, multilateral financing institutions, governments, academia, civil society, and the private sector, the SDSN develops science-based pathways for SDG implementation, promotes independent monitoring and accountability for sustainable development progress, identifies persisting gaps and priorities through feedback loops to adapt long-term SDG strategies, and facilitates peer-to-peer learning, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of best practices.

The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) is an international non-profit organization that brings together companies and professionals in the fields of language services, technology, and multilingual communication. Founded in 2002, GALA supports the growth of the industry by fostering professional communities, knowledge sharing, and the implementation of best practices in globalization and localization.

European Network for Academic Integrity

The European Network for Academic Integrity is an association gathering educational institutions and individuals interested in maintaining and promoting academic integrity.

We are the biggest academic integrity network in Europe and we belong to key players in academic integrity worldwide.

We are in touch with the experts in the field and cooperate with European and international organizations oriented toward academic and research integrity. We have built and we provide valuable free resources such as the Glossary on Academic Integrity or the database of educational materials. We are organizers of the  European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia. We support victims of academic integrity misconduct through the Victim Support Portal.

Our mission is to support higher education institutions to work together in the field of academic integrity.

AMEE

The International Association for Health Professions Education  

AMEE is a worldwide organisation with members in over 90 countries across five continents. Our community is made up of individuals and organisations from a diverse range of backgrounds that span the health professions educator sector. Doctors, nurses, teachers, lecturers, dentists, veterinarians, surgeons and many, many more have all joined AMEE to come together with the aim of bettering education in their field and supporting colleagues around the world in achieving excellence.

AMEE promotes that excellence in health professions education internationally at all levels of study, from entry level disciplines to Masters programmes and PhD Research. Together with other organisations, we support teachers and institutions in their current educational activities while advising them on new developments, advances and methodologies.


AMSE

The Association of Medical Schools in Europe 

 

AMSE is primarily concerned with the leadership and management of medical schools, and the question of how to run the medical school, and how to manage its relationship with the university hospital and other health-care partners. AMSE is also interested in the regulatory, quality assurance, political and economic contexts in which the medical school works to fulfil its mission of medical education and medical research.

CEEMAN

The International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies

 

CEEMAN is an international management development association established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating the growth in quality of management development in central and eastern Europe. Now it is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change, with 200 members from 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

The Caucasus University Association

The Caucasus University Association is an institute of international academic cooperation, whose members include 175 universities from 15 countries.

Such a cooperation is aimed at developing joint projects and creating a common vision for the future. Namely:

EURASHE

EURASHE was founded in Patras (Greece) in 1990 as an international association promoting and emphasising Applied Higher Education. 
EURASHE’s mission is to strengthen the impact of innovative, high-quality Applied Higher Education and related user-oriented research in Europe by representing Applied Higher Education institutions and facilitating their multi-stakeholder cooperation and dialogue.
EURASHE has over 70 members located all around Europe and beyond. Through them, we represent more than 560 universities of applied sciences, university colleges and other institutions of Professional Higher Education.


INQAAHE

The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) is a world-wide association of 300+ organisations active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education. The great majority of its members are quality assurance agencies that operate in many different ways, although the Network also welcomes (as associate members) other organisations that have an interest in QA in HE.
